Before you arrive

When you arrive, just check in at the café counter. If you booked online, your lounge waiver is already signed as part of your reservation. If not, we'll have a quick one for you to sign at the counter. Then order something warm and we'll show you through to Kittylandia.

How to be a great Kittylandia guest

The cats think of this room as home, and we’d love your help keeping it calm and kind. A little courtesy goes a long way.

The basics

A few gentle ground rules to keep the lounge cosy for everyone.

  • These rooms are the cats' home. Please be the kind of guest you'd want in yours.
  • Anyone under 12 is welcome with a grown-up who keeps them close and supervised: up to two per adult, hands held and voices low.
  • Keep voices soft and movements slow. It keeps everyone purring.
  • Please leave outside food and drinks out of the lounge.
  • Shoes off in the lounge. Cosy socks encouraged.

Saying hello to the cats

The cats set the pace here. Follow their lead and you'll make fast friends.

  • Let the cats come to you. The best hellos are the ones they choose. Please don't pick them up.
  • Never force a visit; a cat who wanders off just needs a little space.
  • Stick to gentle pets along the back and head. Paws, tails, and tummies are off-limits.
  • No flash photography, please. Bright bursts startle sensitive eyes.
  • Treats are a sometimes-thing; always check with staff before offering any.
  • Let sleeping cats lie. Naps are serious business around here.
  • Watch for a flicking tail, flattened ears, or a hiss. That's a cat asking for room. Giving it is an act of love.
